SigAlert: Big rig jackknifed on Miramar Rd.

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A tractor-trailer jackknifed on Miramar Road early Monday, sending one person to the hospital and spilling an unknown chemical into the roadway, authorities said.

The crash in the 7300 block of Miramar Road occurred around 3:30 a.m., according to San Diego police.

Medics transported one person to Scripps Memorial Hospital, a San Diego fire-rescue dispatcher said. The extent of the victim’s injury was unclear early Monday morning.

A SigAlert was in effect while crews worked to clean up the spill, police said. No further details were immediately released.
