Royal Palm Beach man dies in motorcycle crash in Wellington, PBSO says

A 30-year-old Royal Palm Beach man was killed Monday after crashing his motorcycle Wellington, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.

Jesse Carnahan was taken to Delray Medical Center, where he died, according to a sheriff’s crash report.

The crash happened shortly before 5 p.m. near Wellington Trace and Elmira Trail. Carnahan was traveling east on Wellington Trace and approaching Elmira when he unable to negotiate a curve in the road and struck the the curb, the crash report said.

His 2006 Kawasaki overturned and tumbled in a northeast direction, the report said. Carnahan was ejected onto the sidewalk.

Carnahan was was wearing a full-faced helmet at the time of the crash. Neither drugs nor alcohol were a factor in the crash, according to the report.
