Don’t forget, if you’re paying a fine, getting a passport or filing your divorce papers, the Palm Beach County Clerk of Courts has new hours starting Monday.
The office will be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, instead of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will close its branch in Royal Palm Beach.
Clerk Sharon Bock says the shift is a cost-cutting move. Her office lost $2.5 million after the Legislature slashed clerk of courts budgets this year. Employees will still have normal hours, but doing work they previously did for overtime.
