Cranes have removed the wreckage of a passenger train that crashed into a toilet block at a station in Brisbane’s east.
An investigation is under way into Thursday’s crash at Cleveland station after the train derailed, ran up onto a platform and crashed into the toilet block.
There were no serious injuries.
Transport Minister Scott Emerson says it’s too early to speculate on the cause of the crash.
The station will be closed for some time, with services suspended between Cleveland and Wellington Point.
Buses are being used to transport passengers, and it’s expected those arrangements will remain until at least early next week.
