Brooklyn Nets’ Gerald Wallace (45) takes a shot in front of Orlando Magic’s Arron Afflalo (4) during Friday’s game.
Joe Johnson had 22 points and Gerald Wallace added 20 as the Nets got their fifth straight victory, beating the Magic, 98-86, Friday night in Orlando.
“Crash” Wallace hit five of six from the three-point arc as all five Nets starters reached double figures. They beat the Magic for the third time this season, after having lost 10 in a row in recent years.
It was also the fifth straight game that the Nets held an opponent under 90 points. They end November with a franchise-record 11 wins for the month.
Brooklyn was up by just one point at the half, but played with energy on defense to pull away. Next up for the Nets: the Heat in Miami on Saturday.
